At Rooted & Rising, we believe it is our God-given responsibility and honor as Christian parents to raise children who are deeply rooted in Christ—whose faith runs so strong and so deep that they cannot be easily shaken by the world.
Like young plants in a greenhouse, we guide and nurture our children with intention, exposing them to light, truth, nourishment, and grace within the safety of family and fellowship—so that when the time comes, they rise strong, resilient, and ready to stand for Christ in a broken world.
We are a faith-based homeschool collective that values whole-family discipleship, preserving childhood innocence and fun, hands-on learning, and the rediscovery of life-giving skills that equip children for their future roles as parents, neighbors, and brothers and sisters in Christ. Through gardening, cooking, baking, sewing, building, fishing, being out in nature, open-ended play, and so much more, we help cultivate hearts and hands for service, creativity, and leadership.
Above all, we believe strong roots grow best in a loving, supportive, and safe community. That’s why Rooted & Rising is not just for children—it’s for families. Together, we grow deeper, rise stronger, and walk faithfully in the way of Jesus!
GROUP Guidelines
We honor privacy in our group. Many families have made the choice not to share photos or videos of their children’s faces online and we take that very seriously. During group events you may take photos of your own child/children, but if there is another child in the photo it must be the back of their head or face not included.
Phone usage during events. While taking some fun photos of your kiddos is allowed at events, we want to try to be present with each other during these special times as possible. So let’s all do our best to stay off the social scrolling or constant phone checking and have fun and fellowship!
We expect families to be evolved in events. For the day events there needs to be a mother or female caretaker on site for the entire event to watch their child. During family events both mom and dad are encouraged to attend if possible! We want to grow and learn as families in this community as much as possible.
For the safety of all families coming and going to events, these will be dry events. We will have mocktails and fun drinks for many of the occasions but alcohol is not permitted at our Rooted & Rising events.
When it comes to conflict resolution between kiddos, we want to stay realistic, biblical, and strong as a community. Kids get in little arguments, accidents happen, that’s childhood! We will encourage everyone to talk with the children separately and together to resolve conflict and pray with one another if needed. Remember, these are wonderful learning opportunities for our kids! Let’s use them as a way to teach and disciple our little ones.
Faith. This whole beautiful group came about because of a deeply rooted FAITH! We will have prayer after each event and meet up. We will also take specific prayer requests for whoever needs them. These can be submitted beforehand as well to remain anonymous.
